Two complete Russian bale seals of the Cross-in-Shield type, of 18th to 19th Century AD dating. Both seals are of the same type, with a cross-in-shield within a beaded border on the obverse. On one seal, it is possible to see six pellets in the top left quarter and five in the top right quarter. The reverse bears the ligated initials WB and the number 9K beneath. They are of the 'bulla' type of seal, where there is space for two wires or strings to pass through the seal as opposed to discs and rivets.
