An incomplete square piece of sheet copper alloy, of uncertain dating, but probably Medieval (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The artefact consists of a thin square sheet of copper alloy with two circular perforations, located in parallel corners on the same side. These perforations still contain the remains of copper alloy circular sectioned rivets. No decoration appears to be present on either side of the sheet of copper alloy. A complete copper alloy artefact of uncertain function and dating, possibly Roman (AD 43 to AD 410). The artefact is a hollow semi cyclindrical shape. Semi circular end caps are present at either end. The front is convex (domed) and the reverse is concave. The front has been decorated with a series of fourteen wide ridges, each around 2.8 mm wide. An incomplete fragment of perforated copper alloy sheet metal, of possible Roman to Medieval dating (AD 43 to AD 1500). The fragment is sub square in plan. The edges are irregular with multiple small semi circular notches taken from it. Two complete circular perforations (holes) are present, located in the corners of the fragment. A partial perforation is present in another corner, and it is hard to determine if a fourth one was present. The holes have an internal diameter of 2.17 mm.
