A cast copper alloy ring or loop which functioned as a curtain fitting, of Post Medieval dating (15th to 17th Centuries AD). It is sub-circular in plan with a thick bi-trapezoid section with rounded edges. In profile the loop is flat. The surface has a matte dark brown / dark green abraded surface. The surface has suffered from some abrasion. It measures 28.24mm external diameter, 19.13mm internal diameter, 3.40mm thick. The ring is 4.15mm wide. It weighs 4.0 grams.
