The distributor is cross like in shape, with an openwork oblique short-armed cross located at the centre. The four arms of the cross are raised up from the central circle, with triangular ends pointing into the centre of the distributor. The far end of each arm is circular in shape. An incomplete enamelled copper alloy strap slide or fitting, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (200 BC to AD 100). The strap fitting is sub rectangular in shape. The front has been decorated with a high relief design, within a wide border. Remnants of red enamel survive in the recesses of the design. The design consists of two petals (pointed ovals with a central circle), set at an angle and joined together by the stalk.
