A complete cast copper alloy pestle from a Cosmetic Set, of Late Iron Age to Early Roman dating (100 BC to AD 200). The pestle is end looped, with the loop having an internal diameter of 7.85 mm. The pestle is circular section, curved and gradually tapers to the tip. It measures 69.49 mm in length, 6.20 mm wide and 15.02 mm thick. It weighs 15.6 g. The pestle is a dark brown colour. An incomplete cast copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring or possibly harness fitting, of probable Iron Age to Roman dating (200 BC to AD 300). The ring is cast in one piece and is relatively large and heavy. The ring is relatively uniform in diameter and broadly D shaped in cross section. It is decorated with a single circumferential recessed band which divides the ring unevenly. There seems to be no other surface decoration present.
