A complete copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Post Medieval dating dating (1500 to 1600 AD). It is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at both ends, with a rounded nose, and circular eye. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central flower design, with leaves pointing away on both sides. An incomplete probable casting jet from copper casting, of uncertain dating (2350 BC to AD 1800). The casting jet is conical in shape. The top surface is sub oval in shape, with a rounded edge, and a concaved surface. Below this, the jet narrows to a point, with slightly facetted sides. It measures 14.8 mm in length, 17.8 mm wide and 13.3 mm thick. It weighs 6.2 g. The casting jet is a mid to dark green colour, with an uneven surface patina. A complete, cast, copper-alloy, strap-mounted terret of Roman date, around AD 43 - 250, of Lewis type xix. The terret comprises a main ovate ring with an integral rectangular loop projecting from the base. The main ring is bottom-heavy displaying wear one one face. The ring has a tapering ovate section and the loop is sub-rectangular in section. The terret is undecorated. The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn.
