An incomplete silver annular buckle frame and chape. The pin is missing. The buckle frame is annular (circular) in shape with bevelled edges. The central bar is lower and recessed. No maker’s marks are present. The buckle plate or chape is sub triangular in shape, with a rounded apex. The chape has been made from a sheet of silver metal. A fragment of probable silver inlay. It consists of thin piece of silver metal, decorated on one side. The lower edge is curved. The decoration consists of crossing fleur-de-lys or leaf-tendrils forming an inward pointing triangle in which is a further leaf-motif. This decoration is set against a back-ground of roughly incised lines which could represent the keying for enamel or niello inlay although the cells lack sufficient depth to retain inlay.

A complete silver conical aiglet or lace tag. The aiglet is hollow. It has a rounded blunt tip. The seam butts up against each other. The socket is full of soil and other organic material. The top edge is incomplete with notches removed from it. The top has been decorated with a horizontal triple groove running parallel to the top.
