A probable incomplete cast copper alloy foot / leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1700 AD). The vessel fragment is sub rectangular in plan and semi circular in cross section. It consists of a curved body, with an irregular rough surface, both at the back, top and bottom. Seven (7) fragments of Roman vessel glass. Four demonstrate the characteristic blue green colour and trapped air bubbles. The other three fragments are similar to the others in style and thickness but have developed a metallic surface patination indicative of the decomposition of glass, which prevents the confirmation of identification.
