Three incomplete copper alloy rim fragments from probably two copper alloy large posnets or cauldrons of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 - AD 1700). The rim fragments are irregular in plan, but rectangular in cross section. The internal surface is smooth and polished. The rim type consists of a rounded lip. The exterior surface is unpolished and shows signs of finishing/filing. Sooting is present on the exterior of a couple of the fragments. The attachment plant has been constructed from two pieces of sheet copper alloy metal, that has been riveted together with rolled sheet copper alloy rivets. The handle is now in four fragments. The possible handle fragment consists of a semi circular cross sectioned piece of copper alloy. It is sub rectangular in shape. Lots of small semi circular dents or impressions are present over the surface. An incomplete lead alloy anthropomorphic support (one of three) from the top of a chafing dish, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1575 to AD 1650). Around 25% of the support is present, consisting of the base of the body and the start of two arms. The rest is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. A rimsherd of a wheelthrown iron glazed ceramic vessel. The sherd is 7.33mm thick and weighs 30.1g. It is 28.84mm long and 51.04mm wide. The sherd consists of a rim sherd, most likely from a large storage jar, in a dark brown, iron rich fabric with white calcium inclusions. Both the interior and exterior surfaces are a shiny dark reddy brown colour and have been glazed with an iron rich glaze.
