A cast copper alloy single loop strap slide or loop, of Medieval dating (Late 13th to 14th Centuries AD).
The strap slide or loop is sub rectangular in plan, and the frame is D-shaped in cross section. The front is decorated with two expanded ends, tapering in towards the centre, where two raised strips are present. The rest of the frame is plain and undecorated.
It is a dark green colour, with an uneven surface patina. The strap loop has suffered from a minor degree of abrasion, resulting in the loss of the surface patina in several locations.

A complete copper-alloy mount, of Early Post Medieval date (16th to 17th centuries AD). The mount is sub-rectangular in plan, and the plate is D-shaped in cross-section. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount, of probable Post Medieval dating (c. 1600 to 1800 AD onwards).
The strap fitting is circular in plan, but due to soil pressure, is now displaying a lateral warping. It was probably originally flat or slightly domed. A circular hole is present, located off centre, towards the top of the strap fitting. Two small copper rivets have been punched through the strap fitting on either side of the hole.
It is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pendent loop from a bar mount, of Medieval dating (c.1350 to 1400 AD).
The pendent loop is quatrilobate in form, with three protruding knops. In cross section, it is D shaped. The top of the loop still retains the remains of the iron attachment hook. The rest of the pendent loop consists of four arches, joined together in a quatrilobate shape. A rounded knop protrudes from each of the arches. A sunken collar is present at the junction between the arch and the knop.

The strap fitting consists of a rectangular D sectioned attachment, with a square sectioned hook at the base. The hook has a blunt point, and is U shaped in profile. The attachment end has been decorated by a couple of raised collars, one at the top and one at the bottom, on either side of the holes for rivets. An iron rivet is still present in the lower hole, whereas the upper hole is empty. The internal diameter of the upper hole is 2.96mm.

A complete cast copper alloy hooked plate sword belt strap fitting, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD).
The hooked plate is sub triangular in plate, with a hook at the top. The hook bends forwards and has a globular terminal. Below this is a rivet hole containing the remains of an iron rivet. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting / belt mount of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).
The mount is irregular in plan. It has a central circular shape, with evidence of a six (6) petalled flower in the centre. Triangular extensions are present at the top and bottom of the central circular area. Traces of gilding survive on the front of the mount. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Two (2) incomplete circular sectioned attachment spikes are present on the rear of the mount.

A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic strap fitting or belt hook, of Post Medieval dating (1500 to 1700 AD).
The belt hook is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at either end, with a rounded nose, and circular eye. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area comprising a central ridge, with two (2) oval annulets to either side of a short raised bar.
An incomplete copper alloy circular sectioned loop is still present around one of the animal heads. It has a diameter of 8.72 mm and is 1.79 mm thick.

An incomplete cast copper alloy fragment from a hooked strap fitting of probable post-medieval date (AD 1500 - AD 1700).
The strap fitting is broadly sub-rectangular in plan. The fitting can be divided into two separate parts; the body and the hooked terminal. The hooked terminal is lost and the break is worn and eroded suggested a relatively old break. A complete cast copper alloy five sided (pentagonal) strap loop, of Medieval dating (AD 1350 to AD 1400).
The strap loop is five sided with a wide flat base, sides that slope outwards slightly and a peak in the centre of the top bar, the top bar has a triangular cross section. The edges are bevelled. Filemarks are present on the edges. Remnants of an iron separate rivet is present, located in the centre of the base.
The strap loop measures 20.21 mm in length, 30.05 mm wide and 5.00 mm thick. It weighs 4.4 g.
The strap loop is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete copper alloy belt hook dating to the Post Medieval period, circa AD1600-1700. The object is a flat plate with a forward facing hooked projection. The plate is decorated with a moulded leaf decoration. The reverse of the hook is undecorated with two circular recesses. The recesses are probably some form of attachment. An incomplete cast copper alloy sword belt hanger dating to the Post Medieval period, circa AD1600-1700. About 60% of the hanger is present consisting only of a partial attachment plate. No hooked mounts present. Tri-lobed knop at one end and two sub oval protruding suspension loops. The plate has a foliate decoration. Two iron rivets are still present on the attachment plate, one in the centre and the other at the end of the tri-lobed knop. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Length: 29.81mm. Width: 43.04mm. Thickness: 3.28mm. Weight: 10.6g.
