A complete copper alloy annular buckle, with a drilled frame, and separate chape, of Post Medieval dating (c. AD 1660 to c. AD 1720).
The buckle frame is sub annular in plan, and d-shaped in section. The frame exhibits moulded decoration, consisting of a repeating pattern of four transverse grooves with a plain raised section between them. The pattern repeats six times around the frame. The raised sections at either end of the central bar are larger than the ones on the outer loops. The reverse is undecorated. The spindle is still present, along with part of the chape.

A complete copper alloy single looped (D shaped) buckle, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1650).
The buckle frame is complete, part of the pin is incomplete and the plate is missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The frame of the buckle is sub-rectangular (D shaped) in plan with a recessed bar at one end to which the pin (incomplete) would have fitted. A complete copper alloy double loop buckle, with an iron pin, of Late Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1850).
The buckle is sub oval in plan, and rectangular in section. It has an offset central bar, with part of the corroded iron pin looped around it. There are semi-circular facets along the edge of the frame. The outer edges of both loops expanded, forming trapezoid shaped loops, with triangular points at the apex. Approximately 50% of the buckle frame is present, consisting of part of one loop and part of the central bar. The rest of the buckle is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle consists of a double oval looped buckle (spectacle), with moulded transverse ridges on the frame as decoration. Projecting from one outer edge is a zoomorphic head. A complete cast copper alloy single looped buckle of Late Medieval to Early post-Medieval date (c. AD 1450-c. AD 1550).
The frame is 'D'-shaped in plan, moulded at the front and flat at the rear. A triangular pin rest extends from the outer edge. At the front, regular spaced grooves create a crude rope-work effect. The bar is roughly square in cross-section. Remnants of the casting sprue is still present, attached to the bar.
It measures 26.47 mm in length (including the sprue), 18.86 mm (without the sprue), is 17.57 mm wide and 2.78 mm thick. It weighs 1.2 g.

An incomplete tin alloy (pewter) buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1650 to AD 1750).
The buckle is a trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The sides are moulded and concaved. The buckle has been decorated with wide vertical grooves across its surface. The ridges separating the grooves have been decorated with multiple transverse notches. The reverse is undecorated and the spindle no longer remains.
