Description: A complete but misshapen gold and enamel finger ring, of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The finger ring was originally circular in shape, but is now sub square, due to post depositional soil pressure deforming the band. It has a D shaped cross section. It has been decorated with a geometric grid pattern on the exterior containing significant remains of white enamel. Each square in the grid is approximately 1.0 mm wide. A complete, misshapen gold finger ring, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600). The finger ring would have originally been circular, but is now a flattened oval. The hoop has a D shaped cross section, with the internal surface flat. Two inscriptions are present, one exterior and one interior, both written in capital letters. 15 fragments of at least one and perhaps two plated disc brooches, of early Early-Medieval dating (late 6th or early 7th century AD). The largest two fragments are semi-circular in shape.The front of each has filigree wire decoration and attached garnet cabochons. The filigree decoration has been done as a beaded wire along the edge of each piece as a border, with another line parallel to the border, in the middle of the piece, creating two arched bands. A complete hollow gold bead of uncertain dating, probably Post Medieval to Modern (AD 1800 to AD 1900). The bead is spherical. Several small sub triangular depressions are present around the mid point, possibly teeth marks. A circular perforation, with an internal diameter of 1.3 mm is present top and bottom.  It has a diameter of 7.1 mm and is 7.0 mm long. It weighs 0.6 g. The bead is a mid yellow colour, with an even patina. The bead is non-diagnostic for earlier periods, so it can not be proved to be older than 300 years.
