Fragment 1 measures 32.14mm long, 10.70mm wide, 3.29mm thick and weighs 1.3 grams. Fragment 2 measures 19.57mm long, 21.06mm wide, 5.55mm thick and weighs 1.5 grams. A series of horizontal striations are present towards the end of the fragment, these could be butchery marks from the skinning or preparing of the animal. They wer found deeply buried along with Medieval pottery. They probably represent a midden.
