An incomplete copper alloy single-looped buckle dating to the Medieval period (c. AD 1350-1400). The buckle consists of a single-loop sub-rectangular frame with expanded outer edges. The two vertical bars are offset; the outermost retains a sheet metal roller, whilst the innermost bar is recessed for the strap plate. The pin is now missing. The buckle is undecorated It measures 14.7 mm in length, 15.0 mm wide and 4.3 mm thick. It weighs 2.3 g. The buckle has a mid-green patina. An incomplete copper alloy double looped trapezoidal buckle of Post Medieval dating (AD 1620 -AD 1680). Around 50% of the buckle is present, consisting of one outer loop. The outer loop is sub rectangular in shape. The surviving outer loop has a trefoil shaped end and a lobed protrusion at either end of the narrowed strap bar. An incomplete cast copper alloy double-looped spectacle buckle dating from the late Medieval to Post Medieval periods, circa AD1500-1650. The frame survives intact but the pin is missing.
