A complete struck / knapped flint tanged arrowhead, of Middle Bronze Age dating (c. 2,400 BC to c. 1000 BC).
The arrowhead is sub triangular in shape, with a square end tang located centrally. It has been made from a tertiary debitage flake as none of the original cortex (outer rind) is present. The ventral face is flat. The dorsal surface exhibits retouch along both edges and a central ridge. The retouch can be classified as Short / Sub parallel / low angle.
It measures 38.0 mm in length, 17.8 mm wide and 6.4 mm thick. It weighs 3.4 g.
