The rim fragment has a flat cross section. The rim type consists of a flat type. This section is possibly from a cooking vessel either a cauldron or posnet (See Fig 1 in Butler, Green and Payne 2009 for examples of the vessel type).

The object takes the form of a three-toed, clawed birds foot. A flat plate projects at a right-angle from the angle, terminating in a split break where the edges of a circular attachment hole is visible. This hole has an internal diameter of 2.8 mm. Two supportive knops project from the centre and rear edge of the base.

The mount is domed, with a concave underside and is of the multifoil type, having twelve teardrop shaped lobes, six larger than the others. The larger lobes are plain and decorated whereas the smaller lobes have been decorated with three raised pellets. A complete cast copper alloy heraldic harness pendant of Medieval dating (14th Century AD).
The pendant is of the 'heater' shield shape (a flat top, with sides that curve steeply to a point). The upper edge has an integrally cast suspension loop, which is sub oval in plan and set at right angles (ninety degrees) to the pendant. It is angled forwards, with an oval pierced loop.

A complete copper alloy finger ring, of probable Roman dating (4th Century AD).
The finger ring is polygonal in shape, with eight external facets (octagonal). The hoop has an circular cross section. The facets are flat. Each one is 10.8 m in length. No decoration is present on any facet.
The finger ring has a 21.4 mm external diameter, 18.0 mm internally. The hoop is 2.2 mm thick and 1.6 mm wide. It weighs 0.9 g.
The finger ring is a mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina.

It is broadly circular in shape with a rectangular cross section with bevelled edges. In profile the loop is flat.
It measures 25.4 mm external diameter, 17.4 mm internal diameter and 3.0 mm thick. The ring is 3.3 mm wide. It weighs 3.3 grams.
