A complete copper alloy probable harness fitting or ring, of Late Iron Age or Early Roman dating (300 BC to 100 AD). The ring is circular in shape, with a circular cross section. The ring expands in width from the top to the bottom. A groove is present on the base, with v shaped terminals. The harness fitting has an external diameter of 18.7 mm and an internal one of 8.1 mm. The maximum width of the ring is 5.3 mm and the minimum is 4.1 mm. The ring has a maximum thickness of 5.9 mm and a minimum of 4.2 mm. It weighs 6.9 g. A complete copper alloy strap distributor of Iron Age dating (100 BC to 100 AD). The strap distributor is of an openwork design with a rectangular loop to either side and two joining crescents in the middle. No enamel is visible. It measures 40.5 mm in length, is 32.3 mm wide and a maximum of 7.0 mm thick. It weighs 15.7 g. The strap distributor is a dark green colour with an even surface patina. An incomplete copper alloy Colchester brooch, of Late Iron Age to Roman date (AD 25 to AD 60). Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow, a wing, head, and an incomplete catch plate. The pin, the other wing and spring are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. In plan, the brooch is almost T-shaped, and D-shaped in cross section. The bow head is hump-like, and angular (comma shaped) in profile, with incomplete flat rectangular wings projecting from either side at the top.
