An incomplete sheet tin alloy 'scutiform' / disc pendant, of Early Early Medieval dating (AD 500 to AD 600). The pendant is sub circular in plan, with a rectangular extension to the top. This rectangular extension would have originally formed part of the suspension loop and is incomplete. The front of the pendant exhibits a central raised circular boss. This boss is surrounded by three concentric circles of silvered V-shape stamps. The reverse is plain and undecorated.
