A complete cast copper alloy vessel foot, of Roman dating (1 - 410 AD). The mount is irregular in plan, and cross section. It is of a peltate shape, with each peak being bifurbicated (split) by a V shaped groove. Each tip curves away from the groove. The front is plain and undecorated (apart from the grooves). The back is hollow, with a thick outer rim. It is a mid to dark green colour, with an patchy but even surface patina.
