Fragment of a long, thin cast copper alloy medieval mount, with a slightly concave reverse. It has one complete rivet hole in the centre of a panel which is D-shaped in cross-section. This is flanked at either end by a transverse ridge or collar and then a square, slightly raised panel which is rectangular in cross-section. One end is broken across this panel, perhaps at a rivet hole. The other end has another transverse ridge and then another raised panel which then steps down to a flatter area which is broken across a definite rivet hole.

An incomplete copper alloy mount of medieval date. It consists of a rectangular plate with concave surface, with a trefoil or fleur-de-lis projection at one end. The outer foils, or leaves of the fleur, each have a circular hole which may originally have been used for attachment. In the centre of the fleur is a diagonal grooved cross or saltire.
The fleur-de-lis or trefoil terminal is connected to the rest of the long, thin mount by a narrowed concave neck. The mount then tapers very slightly to expand again at the broken end. The underside is flat and undecorated.

An incomplete copper alloy mount or furniture fitting of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700).
The mount has a square flat head, with a circular sectioned attachment spike to the reverse. This attachment spike is incomplete, it has a diameter of 4.2 mm. The front of the mount bears the remains of a saltire design within a square border.
It measures 16.0 mm in length, 16.7 mm wide and 2.4 mm thick (not including attachment spike). It is 9.2 mm thick including the attachment spike. It weighs 3.6 g.

A complete copper-alloy terminal, 'end-cap' or pommel from a knife of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1600).
This terminal is likely to have come from an iron scale tang knife. The terminal is in the form of a human head wearing a pointed hat or helmet with multiple vertically engraved lines perhaps suggesting hair with a double-banded ruff around the neck. A struck/hammered copper alloy jetton of Charles VI (1380-1422) or Charles VII (1422-1461), struck as one of the stock issues in Tournai between c.1415 and 1497 AD.
The jetton consists of a Shield of France jetton, issued throughout the 15th Century.
The obverse consists of a Shield of France bearing 3 complete Lys or Lis, with annulets to the top and side. The obverse inscription reads [ ]MARIA GRACIA P [ ]. The reverse depicts a triple stranded cross fleuretty in a four arched tressure. The reverse inscription reads [ ]AMV.

The silver ingot is sub rectangular with a square cross section. The corners are slightly bevelled and there are some hammer marks along the edge. The ends are incomplete.
It measures 28.3 mm in length, 8.8 mm wide and 6.2 mm thick. It weighs 8.9 g.

An incomplete copper-alloy (bronze) cast horse harness fitting or strap distributor, dating from the late Iron age to the early Roman period ( c.50BC-AD50).
The object comprises three connected openwork trefoil rings (of which two survives intact) and a probable central motif of a horses head projecting 90 degrees from the centre of the object. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD).
The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape.
It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams.
The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

A complete, but bent gold posy finger ring of Late Post Medieval dating to the17th Century
No trace of enamel is surviving on the exterior, which has been decorated on the exterior with double hearts flanked by love birds with foliage and flowers, including a pansy for 'thoughts'. The object would have been enamelled, tiny traces remain.
Inscription on the inner surface: Loue euer or neuer
There is a possible maker's mark in the form of a square shield containing what may be the letter m. See British Museum rings AF.1536, 1280 & 1246 for comparison of the maker's mark: AF.153…

A complete cast copper alloy finger ring of Roman date, circa AD43-200. The ring is 'stirrup shaped' with a D-sectioned hoop expanding towards the shoulders, which flares into an oval bezel. The shape of the ring falls within Guiraud Type 2g. The setting contains red enamel with a slightly raised 'III' surrounded by a curving line. The design is catagorised by Daubney as Group 5d.
Dimensions: The hoop has an external diameter of 19.44mm. From the outside of the bezel to the back of the hoop is 19.66mm. The bezel is 6.64mm wide. The ring weighs 2.2g.

A complete cast copper alloy, probable finger ring, of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to 410).
The finger ring consists of a sub rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet metal, with tapered ends, folded into a sub circular shape, with the tapered ends meeting. The finger ring is plain and undecorated on both sides.
The probable finger ring measures 18.09 mm in length, 11.54 mm wide and 12.76mm high. The metal is 1.55 mm thick. It weighs 4.2 grams.
The probable finger ring is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.
