An incomplete copper alloy purse bar, of the Early Post Medieval period, dating from circa AD 1500 - AD 1550. The remains of the purse bar include the two complete horizontal arms which would have formed the upper part of the frame. The remainder of the frame is now missing. An incomplete copper alloy crescent-type Aesica brooch of 1st Century AD dating. (Refs: Mackreth 2011, p.46 & Plates 27 & 28; Hattat 2000 Fig 170.) Around 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of the head and bow and part of the back. The foot, pin, spring and catch plate are missing. A complete copper alloy annular brooch of Medieval dating (c.AD 1250-1400). The brooch is circular in plan with a frame that is, barring decorative feature, D-shaped in cross section with a flat reverse and convex upper surface. The outer face is also decorated with six raised broadly hexagonal collets that are taller and wider than the frame of the brooch.
