An incomplete cast copper alloy padlock, of Post Medieval dating (16th Century to mid 19th Centuries AD). It is circular in plan, with two protruding lugs at the top of the lock. These lugs would have originally taken the bar, which is now missing. The presence of iron corrosion products around the area of the lugs would suggest that the bar was originally made from iron. A complete pair of cast copper alloy nut crackers, of Post Medieval (Late 18th Century) dating. The nut crackers consist of two identical parts hinged together at the top. The upper part is made up of two solid plates, which are sub semi-circular in section, with three flat areas decorated with foliate like decoration. The inside surface has four lines of triangular nicks designed to hold the nut in place. The shank demonstrates a minor degree of faceting, suggesting that it was originally wrought from a larger more angular piece. An incomplete cast / handmade copper alloy nail, of probable Post Medieval dating (1700 - 1900 AD). The nail consists of an incomplete rectangular head, and a rectangular sectioned shank, which gradually tapers to a blunt point. One side of the shank exhibits a series of fine diagonal lines crossing the surface (possible saw or file marks). The nail is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina. An incomplete cast copper alloy, probable Lamp hanger, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (14th to 17th Centuries AD). The hanger has a circular centre with two holes. Only one arm is present, out of three originally attached. The surviving arm has a suspension loop at the end. The remnants of a second arm are present, with an old break located part way down the length of the arm, and the third arm was broken at the edge of the circular centre. The back is plain and undecorated. The metal measures 2.78mm thick. Length: 54.58mm Width: 24.89mm Thickness: 15.84mm Weight: 2.8 grams.

A small coin hoard / purse loss consisting of three (3) coins of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). It consists of two groats, both minted between 1560 and 1561 with a mintmark of cross crosslets, and a shilling also minted between 1560 and 1561 with a mintmark of a martlet. The coins have been recorded separately as: LVPL-023DF0; LVPL-022CD8 and LVPL-01C2D2. As the find consists of two or more precious metal coins (silver in this case), it is potentially classifed under the Treasure Act 1996 and has been reported to the local Coroner.
