A complete lead alloy unifaced token, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1600). The token is sub circular in plan. The obverse depicts a cross, with short central, upper and lower bars (probably Powell type 14). The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token has a diameter of 23.4 mm and is 3.3 mm thick. It weighs 8.6 g. The token is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. Lead tokens are a frequently occurring find, with a variety of different designs. MOVTON SVI DE BERRI reverse type depicting a Paschal Lamb standing left, with one foot raised, his nimbate head reverted to look at the flag with cross on top, which interrupts the mariginal legend. A complete copper alloy English Jetton, dating to the period AD 1310 to AD 1400. It was issued during the reigns of Edward II (1307-1327), or Edward III (1327-1377). The obverse of the jetton shows a shield with the three lions of England passant guardant within, and three fleury decorations around the outside. No external border.
