Description: An incomplete hollow gold cross pendant, perhaps used as a miniature reliquary, of medieval date (c. 15th century AD). The pendant is in the shape of a Maltese cross, with a concave curve at the end of each of the four flaring arms. A gold lozenge shaped back plate, from a composite pendant, perhaps a reliquary pendant. The front of the back plate has been engraved with a pictorial design. The reverse is undecorated. The upper left hand edge has a rounded edge, whereas the others are square. A complete gold and gem finger ring, of Medieval dating (AD 1200 to AD 1500). The finger ring comprises an integral cylindrical bezel and a rectangular sectioned hoop. The shoulders are rectangular in shape, decorated with five parallel engraved grooves on one side and six grooves on the other. The shoulders 3.4 mm wide and 1.8 mm long. The bezel is unusual, consisting of a concave recess, with an circular sectioned bar mounted above it. Domed terminals are present on either end of the bar.
