An incomplete copper alloy strap distributor or harness link, of Late Early Medieval dating (AD 1000 to AD 1100). Probably 25% of the strap distributor is present, consisting of one of either two or four arms remaining. The rest were probably lost in antiquity. The remaining arm has a lozenge shaped terminal, with a central oval shaped perforation (11.5 mm by 7.7 mm). The terminal has the remnants of knops on three outer points. A rectangular projection extends away from the terminal. It measures 22.4 mm in length, 20.7 mm wide and 4.0 mm thick. It weighs 2.1 g. The strap …

An incomplete copper alloy strap distributor or harness fitting, of Early Medieval dating (10th to 11th Century AD) Around 50% of the strap distributor is present, consisting of a lozenge terminal and the central roundel. The lozenge terminal has circular knops on each corner. The central void has been filled with iron corrosion products. In the centre, there is a raised convex roundel with a circular indentation as well as rounded knobs to either side. An incomplete copper alloy harness link or strap distributor, of late Early Medieval (Anglo-Scandinavian) dating (AD 1000 - AD 1100). Around 90% of the distributor is present, with none of the loops complete. The distributor has four short arms in the form of an equal armed plain cross, sub rectangular in cross section, slightly convex at the top and flat on the underside. An incomplete copper alloy strap distributor or harness link, of Late Early Medieval dating (AD1000 to AD 1100). The object consists of a triple knobbed loop located at both ends with an oval shaped knop positioned centrally. Rectangular projections extend above and below the central oval knop, indicating it may have been a four way harness link or strap distributor. The edges are bevelled.
