The lower section of the object is in the form of an animal's head with half-round nostrils at its distal end above which are two lateral projections representing the brow. A small projection between the nostrils may represent the remains of a loop for a spangle. The upper part of the foot has faceted sides and some, incised, transverse mouldings.
