The jetton was originally folded in half but has since been straightened. The probable obverse was on the inside, and traces of a ship style design are visible. The reverse was on the exterior, and was probably a rose surrounded by three crowns and three lis. It has a diameter of 24.4 mm and is 1.9 mm thick. It weighs 2.9 g. The jetton is a dark green to grey colour with an even surface patina.

Minted in Nuremberg.  The obverse depicts a rose with alternating crowns and fleurs-de-lys surrounding, within an annulet border. The reverse depicts an Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within a double tressure of three arches, with annulets between arches.  IOSV series of jettons, abbreviating the maker's name in the inscription and attributed to Jorg (George) Schultes. cf.
