The flat axe is broadly sub rectangular in shape with a splayed crescent shaped blade. In profile it is broadly lentoid, with slight tapering edges. A complete silver finger ring of late medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1600).
The finger ring has a D shaped hoop, and an applied bezel. The hoop has been made from a length of D sectioned metal, formed into a circular shape, and soldered onto the reverse of the bezel. Both ends of the hoop are visible on the reverse. The bezel consists of a central heart with two quatrefoil shaped flowers, one to either side, attached by two curved branches. The curved branches project from the top of the heart, between the lobes.

A short section of a Roman copper alloy bracelet that has been cut and bent into a finger ring dating to c. AD 250-450.
The object is formed of a strip of copper alloy. The strip is sub-rectangular in cross section with slightly rounded edges. This strip has been bent into a now mostly circular hoop that overlaps slightly. Both ends appear to be old breaks which suggests the object to be reused, most likely from a bracelet. Decoration on the exterior is hard to determine.

An incomplete copper alloy signet ring of late medieval to post medieval date.
The bezel is oval in shape, 17.1 mm in length, 14.7 mm wide and is raised from the line of the hoop. It has two engraved capital letters 'EH'. These are probably the owner's initials. The hoop is 5.9 wide with D shaped cross section 3.5 mm thick. Only about 10% of the hoop is present, so original diameter can not be determined.
The finger ring has a length of 18.8 mm, it is 14.7 mm wide and 7.1 mm thick. It weighs 3.9 g.

A complete gilded silver signet finger ring. The bezel is circular. The device consists of a crown above two initials in black letter script. The initials are ‘dh’. The device is within a beaded border, with chevrons pointing inwards.

Originally the ferrule was more conical in shape, but has now been flattened. A right hand engraved spiral is present as decoration curving around all sides. It is hollow. Both top and bottom edges are complete.

The die stamp has been made from a sub conical shape. The base is circular and it tapers upwards to a flat horizontal handle. The shape is very similar to that of a human middle phalangeal (finger) bone. A circular hole (probably for suspension) is located slightly off centre, below the handle.
