An incomplete cast copper alloy pipe bowl from a toy whistle, of Post Medieval to Modern dating (1800 to 1900 AD). The pipe bowl is incomplete, missing parts of the sides. The pipe bowl has a pointed base. The sides of the pipe bowl have been decorated. This decoration comprises a line made of joining arches, running around the bowl at its mid point. Below the line, is a regularly spaced pattern of raised pellets. Above the line, the bowl is smooth, apart from a row of dots placed in the gaps of the line of arches. An incomplete lead alloy or tin alloy end cap from a whistle, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800). Around 25% of the whistle is present, consisting only of the end cap. The rest of the whistle is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The end cap is flattened, originally it would have been circular in shape. A suspension loop has been set at right angles to the body of the whistle. It has a circular hole, with an internal diameter of 2.5 mm. An incomplete silver, probable huntsman's whistle, of Early Post Medieval dating (16th to early 17th Century AD). Approximately 25% of the whistle is present, consisting of part of the central tubular section (now pressed flat) and the suspension loop. The central section has been made from a piece of silver sheet, with impressed decoration. The section has been soldered lengthways, with the suspension loop added afterwards and soldered in place.
