A circular copper alloy trade weight of Modern dating (AD 1837 to AD 1901).
The trade weight is circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. The obverse has a raised rim of 2.3 mm width, with a circular engraved border as decoration. Two more concentric engraved circles are present on the obverse. Within the central circle, a possible stamp is present, probably consisting of a Crowned VR, indicating that it was probably issued during the reign of Queen Victoria (AD 1837 to AD 1901). The reverse has a central depression and multiple filemarks.

An incomplete copper alloy trade weight or lid of Early Modern dating (AD 1836 to AD 1901).
The probable trade weight or lid is circular, with a raised rim. The back is covered with white probable solder, and is the reverse of the front, with a recessed rim. This probable solder suggested that it was secured, probably to the lid of a box of cup weights. The front bears several stamped symbols. In the centre, inside a double engraved ring, is a Crowned VR, indicating that it was made during the reign of Queen Victoria between 1836 and 1901. Around the outside are six capital letter …
