A complete cast copper alloy bar mount with pendent loop of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 to 1700 AD). The mount consists of two parts: the bar mount and the pendent loop / ring. The bar mount is U shaped in cross section, as it folds back on itself. The front of the mount is sub square in shape with the projecting loop at the base. An incomplete cast copper alloy bar mount of probable Late Medieveal to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 to 1650 AD). The mount is irregular in plan and D shaped in cross section. In plan the mount is broadly rectangular with the two long sides tapering and flaring along the length. It is incomplete, with one of the terminals missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy belt mount or strap fitting, of Post Medieval dating (15th to 17th Centuries AD). The belt mount is lozengeform (diamond) in plan and flat in profile. It consists of an openwork lozenge style mount, with two integrally cast attachment spikes on the rear of the mount. Both the front and the back of the mount are plain and undecorated. An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting / sword belt fitting of Early Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD). The strap fitting consists of a circular hollow-domed plate with, at one end a projecting collared debased trefoil attachment knop, and the other end is a close butted blunt hook, with a double rounded collar at the junction with the plate. A complete copper alloy strap loop, of medieval dating (c. AD 1250 to c. AD 1400). The fitting is single looped and sub-oval, with an off-set straight attachment bar and a pair of opposed internal trianglar projections which would have secured the strap in place whilst allowing the fitting to slide up and down the strap. The strap fitting measures 16.9 mm in length, 18.9 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick. It weighs 1.6 g. The strap fitting is a mid brown colour, with an even surface patina. A complete copper alloy pendent loop from a bar mount or similar strap fitting, of Medieval dating (AD 1250 to AD 1400). The pendent loop is circular in shape, with a D shaped cross section. The front is convex or domed, whereas the reverse is flat. It has an external diameter of 12.0 mm and an internal diameter of 7.4 mm. The ring has a width of 1.9 mm and is 1.7 mm thick. It weighs 0.8 g. The pendent loop is a dark green colour, with an even surface patina. A similar pendent loop has been recorded on the PAS database as WMID-EA2706.
