A fragment of probable silver inlay. It consists of thin piece of silver metal, decorated on one side. The lower edge is curved. The decoration consists of crossing fleur-de-lys or leaf-tendrils forming an inward pointing triangle in which is a further leaf-motif. This decoration is set against a back-ground of roughly incised lines which could represent the keying for enamel or niello inlay although the cells lack sufficient depth to retain inlay. A complete undecorated silver strap-end dating to the early medieval period. The strap-end is flat and sub-oval in form, with a rounded terminal and rounded corners at the attachment end. An incomplete silver zoomorphic strap end, of early Medieval dating (AD 750-950 AD). Less than 50% of the strap end is present. The decorative detail on the strap end is consistent with that of a Thomas Class A, Type 1 style strap end. The strap end is flat and is sub triangular. A complete cast silver mount dating to the early medieval period. It is tongue-shaped, with a flat top, curved base and straight sides. The front is decorated in the Winchester Style with a pair of creatures (possibly birds or wyverns) at both top and bottom, their heads turned over their backs with a long tail that curls into the centre, where it meets a feline mask. The back is concave with a rectangular lug at the top. Two rivets are present at the base, one iron and the other silver. The top edge appears to be complete.
