An incomplete small iron key from a rotary lock, of Late Roman dating (AD 200 to AD 400). The key consists of a D-sectioned circular bow with a rectangular stem projecting from one side. The bit of the key is also rectangular but is set at an angle of 90° to that of the stem, which is a Roman characteristic. The bit has two horizontal clefts cut into it, one on each side, creating an S shape. No decoration is present on the key. The key measures 48.7 mm in length, 28.1 mm wide and is 28.6 mm thick. The largest one measures: 12.1 mm in length, 9.2 mm diameter head and 3.4 mm diameter shank. It weighs 0.8 g. The middle one measures 11.0 mm in length, 7.2 mm diameter head and 2.8 mm diameter shank. It weighs 0.5 g. The smallest one measures 7.2 mm in length, 7.3 mm diameter head and 2.3 mm diameter shank. It measures 10.3 mm in length, a head diameter of 10.0 mm and a shank diameter of 4.3 mm. It weighs 0.9 g. The hob nail is a dark brown colour. Several similar hob nails have been recorded on the PAS database, including: WMID-DB0B49, SUR-C41F79 and WAW-2AC6C9.

A complete iron hobnail of probable Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). The hobnail has a domed head, and curved shank. The shank tapers to a blunt point. It measures 14.4 mm in length and the head has a diameter of 10.1 mm. It weighs 1.3 g. The hobnail is a mid brown colour, with an even surface patina. The nails compare to other examples on the database including WAW-A15B19 discovered in Warwickshire. Here the record states that "Hob nails were used in Roman footwear (caligulae). An incomplete wrought iron double pronged artefact, consisting of the tip of a flesh hook, of probable Roman dating (43 AD - 410 AD). It is irregular in both plan and cross section. It consists of a slender iron rod, expanding at the base into a triangular shape, into two points extending out at right angles from the rod. An incomplete iron probable plate brooch, of probable Roman dating (2nd Century AD). The probable brooch is circular in shape, with two opposing triangular projections. One of these is flat, the other has a perpendicular (at right angles) projection extending downwards. This is probably the remnants of the catch plate. An incomplete, hand made, iron axe head, of possible Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 410). It has a curved and flaring blade that has a triangular longitudinal section. The axe expands to the pole / shaft end, which curves downwards, is flat and rectangular in form. The eye through which the axe would have originally have been hafted is oval with an integral projecting lug at the blade end on the upper surface.
