Sherd 1 is 5.29mm thick and weighs 2.0g. It is 15.94mm long and 17.10mm wide.
Sherd 2 is 6.80mm thick and weighs 2.2g. It is 15.59mm long and 17.95mm wide.
Together they weigh 4.2g.
The sherd consists of a bodysherd, in an orange oxidised fabric similar to that published as COTS (Cotswold Oolitic) in McSloy 2007 pp30. A significant proportion of the oolitic limestone inclusions have been leached out. It most likely dates from 11th to 13th centuries.
