A complete cast copper alloy brooch pin, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1200 to c. AD 1500). The brooch pin is sub triangular in plan and square in section. The pin has an oval attachment loop. Below the loop are two circular collars, the lower being larger than the upper one. The pin is square sectioned and gradually tapers to a blunt point. The sides of the pin exhibit traces of tinning / silvering. The pin measures 28.66 mm in length, 7.53 mm wide and 7.55 mm thick. It weighs 3.1 grams.
