The pipe bowl has a pointed base. The sides of the pipe bowl have been decorated. This decoration comprises a line made of joining arches, running around the bowl at its mid point. Below the line, is a regularly spaced pattern of raised pellets. Above the line, the bowl is smooth, apart from a row of dots placed in the gaps of the line of arches. The sherds vary in thickness from 4.98mm to 7.24mm. In total they weigh 112.2 grams. The sherds have a pale yellow oxidised fabric and a pale green glaze on the exterior surfaces. An incomplete cast copper alloy rim fragment from a copper alloy large posnet or cauldron of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1700 AD). The rim fragment is irregular in plan, but rectangular in cross section. The internal surface is smooth and polished. One faint concentric ridge is present on the exterior. The exterior surface is unpolished and shows signs of finishing/filing. The original diameter of the rim is estimated at 16 cm, with 5% of the diameter surviving.
