A complete but worn, cast copper alloy trade weight of Post Medieval (18th century dating). The weight is circular with a raised rim on the top of the weight. The top has been decorated with a series of concentric incised circles. No stamps or countermarks are visible. The base is plain and undecorated, apart from a recessed circular depression at the centre. The weight is a mid to dark green colour, with an uneven surface patina. The stopper consists of a semi-circular head, with integrally cast shank beneath. The head measures 21.03mm wide (diameter) by 15.42mm in length and 6.60mm thick.
