A complete but damaged silver struck / hammered threepence of Elizabeth I (1558 - 1603 AD), minted in 1580s, possibly 1582 AD. Both the initial and reverse marks are unclear. The coin has a crumpled appearance, probably caused by movement in the plough soil.
