An incomplete sole from a handmade child's shoe, of Early Modern Dating (Late 19th Century) The shape of the sole is similar to a dumbell (two rounded ends, joined together by a narrow waist). It consists of three layers of leather. The leather layers have been joined by thin copper alloy rivets, riveted through the base. The rivets form a line rounding around the edge of the base. A complete cast lead seal matrix, of Medieval date (c. 1250 - c.1350 AD). The seal matrix has a circular die, with a large D-shaped lug on the reverse. This is rectangular in cross-section and has an off-centre sub-circular perforation, diameter 2.52mm. No marks appears to be visible to aid orientation of the die. The die depicts four leaves arranged in an quatrefoil design, surrounded by a grooved border and then the legend around the edge. Each leaf consists of five diagonal petals or leaves. A complete cast copper alloy pedestal / pendant seal matrix, of Medieval dating (1250 to 1400 AD). The body of the matrix consists of a pedestal formed from six irregular tapering sides. These terminate in a single moulded band below a sub triangular pointed loop. The suspension hole is broadly circular in shape. No orientation marks are present around the base of the matrix. The seal matrix is a vesica shaped die (oval with pointed ends), with an incomplete probable tab handle. The handle has a rectangular cross section. The die depicts a six legged curvilinear stylised floral design, surrounded by the legend around the edge. The legend can be read. It appears to read +SIGIL hENR:FIL:ROBTI. An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy bag seal, of probable Late Post Medieval to Modern dating (1700 to 1900 AD). The bag seal consists of two sub circular discs of lead or lead alloy pressed together. Approximately 50% of the front disc is present, with a stamped design. Only the letter H survives of the original design, with a floral design above and a pelleted border. The back is plain and undecorated. The bag seal is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. It measures 22.09mm in diameter and 5.12mm thick. It weighs 4.8 grams.

An incomplete cast white metal (probably pewter) scabbard chape of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1600 AD). The chape appears to have been cast as opposed to being formed from a sheet of white metal, folded and crimped into shape. It is is sub triangular in plan, and pentagonal in cross section.
