A complete cast copper alloy square single loop buckle, of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval (c.1550 - c. 1650 AD). The buckle frame is square in plan, with two projecting knops at each corner on the inside edge. The frame is rectangular in cross section. Bevelling on both sides of the inside edge is present between the two projecting knops.
