A complete cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 to 1600 AD). The strap fitting consists of a rectangular D sectioned attachment, with a square sectioned hook at the base. The hook has a blunt point, and is U shaped in profile. The attachment end has been decorated by a couple of raised collars, one at the top and one at the bottom, on either side of the holes for rivets.
