An incomplete cast copper alloy purse suspension loop of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (c.1450-1600 AD). The suspension loop is sub-circular in plan, and D-shaped in cross section. The external diameter of the loop is 26.35mm and internal is 19.07mm. A collar with parallel sides if present at the base of the loop, and is circular in cross section. The diameter of the collar is 8.07mm wide and it extends 5.4mm beneath the suspension loop.
