An incomplete cast copper alloy furniture fitting / mount, in the form of a stag's head, of Post Medieval Dating (17th - 18th Centuries AD). The mount is sub triangular in plan and irregular in cross section. It consists of a moulded stag's head. The antlers at the top are incomplete. The eyes, nostrils and ears are moulded in relief, with texturing done by fine diagonal lines to imitate the coat of the animal. An incomplete cast copper alloy symmetrical bar mount of Post Medieval Dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD). The mount is irregular in plan and sub rectangular in cross section. The mount consists of a central pellet, with a scallop shell shape (semi-circles with radiating lines) to either side. This style of decoration has a floral or foliate appearance. An incomplete cast copper alloy mount or strap fitting, of Late Post Medieval dating (16th to 18th Centuries AD). The mount is sub square in plan, and rectangular in profile. The mount has rounded corners. The front has been decorated with five circular depressions. Two small copper alloy rivets are present for attachment purposes. Rally ID: 207 Post Medieval to Modern: A complete enamelled cast copper alloy vesica shaped mount. Two small holes are present, one at the top and one at the bottom. The back is plain & undecorated. The front exhibits three letters in a gothic style script: IHS. Traces of enamelling are present in the letters H & S (red in the H & white in S).
