A complete cast copper alloy finger ring, probably of Early Post Medieval dating (1500-1700). The hoop is D shaped in cross section, being rounded to the external (outside edge). The shoulders expand slightly into the rectangular flat bezel. The bezel measures 8.55mm in length, 5.60mm wide. Both the bezel and the hoop appear to be undecorated. The finger ring is a dark red / brown colour, with patches of a dark green surface patina present. A complete but misshapen silver finger ring, with rectangular bezel engraved with initials 'H J S'. The hoop is plain, and the shoulders expand to the width of the bezel. Two rectangular boxes have been engraved on each shoulder. The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.14mm, internal of 18.47mm. The hoop is 2.81mm wide, and 0.81mm thick. A complete but misshapen gold finger ring, with domed oval red glass / paste inset intaglio. The intaglio was possibly engraved but due to damage caused by movement in the plough soil, any engraving is hard to determine. The finger ring has been decorated by a series of double circles, with annulets in the centre, joined together by a raised bar. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.
