An incomplete cast copper alloy rectangular double looped buckle, of probable Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval (c.1400 - c. 1600 AD).
Approximately 35% of the buckle frame is present, consisting of one side. The central bar and the opposite loop are missing. The frame fragment is U-shaped in plan, with a flat side and projecting arms top and bottom. In cross section, the frame is rectangular. The front of the frame has been decorated with a series of incised oblique / diagonal lines. The back of the frame is plain and undecorated.

An incomplete fragment from the frame of a cast copper alloy double loop buckle, with moulded surface decoration, of Post Medieval dating (c.1550 to c. 1650 AD).
The frame fragment is sub oval in plan, and rectangular in cross section. The front exhibits moulded floral decoration. This decorative detail consists of an oval panel, with a double line border, and within the panel, a floral device. The back is plain and undecorated.
The frame frame is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete cast copper alloy double looped trapezoidal buckle of Post Medieval dating (1620 - 1680 AD).
The buckle frame is sub rectangular / trapezoidal in plan, and rectangular in profile. A cast copper alloy single looped D shaped buckle with a separate rectangular strap plate of medieval date (c.1350 to 1450 AD).
The buckle frame is broadly D shaped in plan, with a broad D shape cross section. At the centre of the frame, a single angular pointed projection with a U shaped notch as pin rest is present. The strap bar is off set.

A complete cast copper alloy double looped asymmetrical buckle, of Early Post Medieval dating (c.1575 - c.1700 AD).
Only the frame is present, the pin and buckle plate are missing.
The buckle is asymmetrical in shape. It exhibits six lobed knops (quite worn) on the ouside edge of the rectangular loop. Two lobed semi circular knops are present at symmetrical points on the outer edge of the sub circular loop. A lobed rectangular knop is present at either end of the strap bar.

The buckle frame is sub rectangular in plan, and rectangular in profile. The outside edge is slightly curved. The pin is sub rectangular, with a tapering tip, and appears to have been wrapped around the strap bar.

A complete cast copper alloy annular buckle (or possible annular 'ring' brooch) of medieval date (1200-1400).
The buckle is circular in plan with a circular cross section. There is no evidence for a constriction within the frame of the buckle to which a pin would fit. Instead the pin is attached by a large loop which moves freely around the frame. There is also no evidence of a recessed pin rest on the frame.
