A complete cast copper alloy annular buckle (or possible annular 'ring' brooch) of medieval date (1200-1400). The buckle is circular in plan with a circular cross section. There is no evidence for a constriction within the frame of the buckle to which a pin would fit. Instead the pin is attached by a large loop which moves freely around the frame. There is also no evidence of a recessed pin rest on the frame. The pin is almost complete and relatively large; the tip of the pin is slightly damaged.
