An incomplete carved red sandstone face, of possible Medieval dating (1350 to 1450 AD). The back is rough, and has probably been broken off a larger piece of stone. The face has almond shaped eyes, a triangular nose and a slit open mouth. There are remains of a possible beard around his chin, and a possible crown ontop of his head. It is similar in style to the face of St Christopher from the statue at Norton Priory, stylistically dated to between 1375 and 1400 AD (Marrow, 2008, 316).
