An incomplete cast silver gilt finial from an Apostle spoon, of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (15th to 16th Centuries AD). The finial consists of robed figure, with bare head and chin length chin, holding a book in his right hand and either a saw or a one sided palm frond in his left. The figure is stood on a double fluted hexagonal shaped base. It measures 32.01mm in length, 11.46mm wide and 8.88mm thick. It weighs 10.9 grams. An incomplete silver spoon handle, of Post Medieval dating (16th Century AD). The handle is an elongated 'tear drop' shape, with a rounded end. The front exhibits a central ridge (Hanoverian terminal) and the back is flat. Two initials have been scratched on the reverse 'S*C', presumably those of the original owner. The handle has broken across the hallmark, with only the standard mark being present. An incomplete silver finger ring, of Roman dating (43 AD to 410 AD). The ring is incomplete, missing an inset intaglio (oval setting), but is otherwise in good condition. The ring is D shaped in section. The ring is no longer circular in plan, being squashed out of shape, and is now oval in shape. It measures 21.29mm tall, 26.98mm wide, 13.18 thick at the bezel, 3.88mm thick at the base of the hoop and the hoop is 3.42mm thick. It weighs 10.7 grams. The ring has been reported as Treasure, being older than 300 years with a precious metal (silver) content of greater than 10%.

A complete but misshapen silver finger ring, with rectangular bezel engraved with initials 'H J S'. The hoop is plain, and the shoulders expand to the width of the bezel. Two rectangular boxes have been engraved on each shoulder. The finger ring has an external diameter of 20.14mm, internal of 18.47mm. The hoop is 2.81mm wide, and 0.81mm thick. The back is plain and undecorated. The method of attachment is missing. The front has been die stamped with a crown with central cross pattee ornament. Two hearts are below. A small coin hoard / purse loss consisting of three (3) coins of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). It consists of two groats, both minted between 1560 and 1561 with a mintmark of cross crosslets, and a shilling also minted between 1560 and 1561 with a mintmark of a martlet. The coins have been recorded separately as: LVPL-023DF0; LVPL-022CD8 and LVPL-01C2D2. As the find consists of two or more precious metal coins (silver in this case), it is potentially classifed under the Treasure Act 1996 and has been reported to the local Coroner.
