A complete cast lead or lead alloy moulded lid, possibly from a scent bottle, probably of Late Post Medieval - Modern dating (18th to 19th Centuries AD). The lid is sub circular in plan, and semi-circular in cross section. It consists of a domed (convex) lid, with central protruding circular knop, and raised radiating rays extending outwards and downwards. The edge of the lid is flat, with concentric circles incised into it. The underside is plain and undecorated.
