A cast copper alloy finger ring with incised decoration, most likely of medieval date (1200 to 1500 AD).
The finger ring consists of a cast copper alloy hoop with incised decoration. It has a D shaped cross section. The hoop exhibits a repeating series of small vertical incised lines all around the circumference of the hoop.
The internal surface of the ring exhibits a large number of file marks. No inscription appears to be present.
The ring is mid to dark green colour with an even surface patina.

The hoop is rectangular in cross section, being rounded to the external (outside edge). The shoulders expand slightly into a sub hexagonal bezel. The bezel measures 11.43mm in length, 11.68mm wide. The finger ring is of the signet ring style, with a shield shaped bezel. The shoulders are plain and expand slightly out from the width of the hoop. The hoop has a flanged cross section (a prominent ridge running around the centre of the hoop).

An incomplete cast copper alloy hooked tag or dress fastener of Early Post Medieval dating (c.1500 to c. 1550).
The hooked tag is approximately 50% complete, with just the hook missing. It comprises a central oval, with a relief moulded profile (bust with hair covered, facing left) and a cabled border, with a sub rectangular attachment loop present to the side. The edges are bevelled. The back is plain and undecorated.

An incomplete hooked tag dating to the seventeenth century AD. The fragment comprises the central circular plate. This plate is hollow and hemispherical in section. Its upper surface is decorated with a cast floral motif. The underside is plain. The attachment loop is missing and only a small portion of the semi-circular section hook remains. The central plate has a diameter of 14.54mm and a thickness of 1.92mm.

A complete cast copper alloy swaging block, of modern date (c.1890 to 1930 AD). It is semi-circular in plan and consists of a cast of the upper jaw (maxilla) from an adult. The teeth present are (from right to left): PM2, PM1, I2, I1, C, PM1, PM2, M1. This means that the denture would have false teeth for the right canine, and left lateral & central incisors.
The swaging block measures 41.38mm in height, 51.10mm wide and 32.04mm thick. It weighs 313.1 grams.

A complete but heavily worn, cast copper alloy unifaced coin weight for an Angel denomination coin of Late Medieval dating (1464 to 1588 AD).
The coin weight is circular in plan, and rectangular in cross section. The obverse has an image of St Michael, winged, standing, spearing a dragon below. The reverse is plain and undecorated.
The coin weight is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement in the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of surface detail.

Medieval coin: A worn cast copper alloy Chinese coin, from the Northern Song dynasty (960 AD to 1127 AD), minted during the Xining reign between 1068 and 1077 AD. Chinese characters (inscription- Xining yuanbao) are only present on the obverse. A square hole (7.60mm by 8.05mm internal dimensions) is present at the centre of the coin.
